The Importance of Scalp Care
Studies have shown that the skin on our scalp ages up to 20 times faster than the skin on our face, a fact often overlooked. While we focus on nourishing and protecting our facial skin, the scalp is frequently neglected, despite its crucial role in hair health. The scalp’s accelerated aging is largely due to chemical treatments like hair dyes, straighteners, and relaxers, as well as the lack of regular scalp care.
Additionally, many products in the market contain harsh surfactants and preservatives like SLS, SLES, and parabens, which strip the scalp of its natural oils.
